About the experience
The one-hour sushi-making express demo is a great way to learn how sushi is made. Held in a professional teaching kitchen in London, you will get a chance to witness sushi making in action. The workshop is a perfect opener to an evening out in London. During the sushi-making demo, you will learn about the importance of knife skills and obtaining the freshest ingredients to ensure the best taste of your sushi, sashimi and California rolls. Your skilled sushi chef host will take the lead and show you the intricate cutting, rolling, and folding techniques. You will also learn how to make a delicious vegetable ramen and a zingy sweet chilli sauce. The best part of the experience is that you will get to try some of the sushi you made along the way. By the end of the session, you will have all the knowledge you need to make delicious sushi at home.

- Watch and learn how two types of sushi are made
- See how vegetable ramen and sweet chilli sauce is made
- One hour sushi class
- Demonstration of preparing at least 2 types of sushi, salt and chilli squid with edamame beans in salt and lime and a vegetable ramen
- Sample the freshly prepared sushi
- Depending on class numbers, opportunity to assist chef with the preparation of the sushi
- You will form part of a group of up to 20 participants

- Some menu variations can happen if produce is not available on the day
- There is a dietary requirements box on the booking your date for those requesting vegetarian, gluten free etc- the chef will provide suitable replacements.
- This is an educational lesson and as the clients prepare and cook, taster partitions will be served for you to practice at home.
