About the experience

This is one unique way of getting ready for lunch if you're in or around Staffordshire! The Forge and Feast Experience offers you the chance to both hand forge your very own cutlery - and then sit down to enjoy a tasty light lunch with the fruits of your labour! Under the guidance of master blacksmith Genesis Rowley at his forge workshop, situated in Longton, just outside of Stoke on Trent, he'll guide you through and pass on a bit of his passion for creating beautiful but functional and hopefully long lasting pieces of cutlery. You'll find that even though it takes years to properly hand forge a piece of metal to its full potential, picking up the basic skills to forge is fairly straightforward. With Genesis' tutelage, you'll be learning how to turn your rod of metal into both a cutting knife and also a pickle fork. Then once you've downed tools for the session, and the metal has sufficiently cooled, it's time for a simple yet tasty lunch to help you put your newly forged cutlery to the test, on a selection of tangy cheese and pickles and hearty bread, worthy of any true blacksmith. We know this is going to be a really popular experience so make sure you book onto enjoy yours today!
