About the experience
Learn everything there is to know about forging hot metals for a couple of hours, then use what you've created during lunch! Fun, friendly, and original - these classes with the skilled blacksmith Genesis Rowley are all about creativity and bonding. You can tell your host is passionate about what he does right away, and he's also an excellent teacher. Although mastering the art of hand-forging takes a lifetime, there are several very important fundamental skills that may be picked up quickly at the forge. You won't believe the intense focus on the faces of the inexperienced smithies as they work the furnace - and soon you can be one of them. That stick of dull metal will soon begin to acquire shape with Genesis' support, direction, and instruction. You'll spend some time crafting a straightforward but useful cutting knife and a pickle spike. One of the best things about a TrackDays blacksmithing class is that you will create an item you can take home to use or display proudly.
