About the experience
On this experience day in Sussex, it's all about the bees and the honey brews amid the Great British countryside. You'll discover how to keep bees and how to use honey to make scrumptious craft beers. There isn't a sweeter combination in our minds! Just eight miles outside of Brighton, at the Albourne Estate, your host will greet you and welcome you to an adventure centred on bees and beer. The vineyard is home to the bees - a fantastic setting and a great backdrop for your day. Who wouldn't like to spend the entire day surrounded by the beautiful South Downs vines?
- Short introduction to bees and beekeeping
- Hands-on beekeeping and beer tasting experience
- Get suited up for a hive inspection, check the frames and check the health of the hive
- Relax over a tutored honey beer and honey tasting, with food.
- Free time to explore the vineyard and on site shop
- You will form part of a small group of up to 12 participants
- Selected Saturdays from April to September
- Dates are subject to availability, book well in advance to avoid disappointment

- In the event of extreme weather conditions, a full hive inspection is not recommended to protect the bees. Instead beekeeping-related activities will be offered on-site
