About the experience

Get hands on making bread at this Bread Making Course, available in Essex, London or Buckinghamshire. Learn how to make bread from scratch, taught by specialist chefs including Ann Hood a former master chef contestant. Within your 2 hour session you can choose from two different programmes which include making breads such as ciabatta and a mozzarella and red onion flatbread to an orange brioche plait. You will get to taste bread straight out the oven, giving you a sample of what you can now make yourself in your own home. You will get given course notes and recipes to take home so you don't have to worry about remembering every step. This session is great for those looking for some new skills in the kitchen.

  • Bread baked can be enjoyed during the session and cannot be taken home
  • Some menu variations can happen if produce is not available on the day
  • This is an educational lesson and as the clients prepare and cook, taster portions are served for you to practice at home 
  • Choose from the following options:

Class Option 1

  • Pizza
  • Orange Brioche Plait
  • Chocolate Brioche rolls with hot chocolate sauce
  • Walnut and raisin bread
  • Dough sticks and home made sweet chilli sauce
  • Tear and share with fresh garlic butter

Class Option 2

  • Mediterranean breads with antipasti
  • Light rye with homemade chive butter
  • Ciabatta with olive oil and reduced balsamic dips
  • Sough Dough
  • Homemade mozzarella and caramelised red onion flat bread

Information

  • Courses are not suitable if you have a nut allergy
  • There is a dietary requirements box on the booking form when booking your date for those requesting vegetarian, gluten free etc - chef will provide a suitable replacement

Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year
  • Sessions generally start at 10am and 2pm
  • Dates and session times are subject to availability at your chosen location
