Looking for a taster flight of 15 minutes in an iconic vintage Boeing Stearman biplane in Dorset? This could be what you're looking for! Taking off from Compton Abbas Airfield, a few miles south of Shaftesbury, you'll get to explore Cranborne Chase, Fontmell and Melbury Downs from the air in this, the Stearman, one of the most iconic military training biplanes of its time, which many pilots from the US Air Force and US Navy, as well as the Canadian Air Force, training and gaining their wings during WWII. After the war ended, they were a common sight for use as crop dusters, sports planes and also performing aerobatics and wing walking stunts at air shows. But in the case of this Stearman you'll be taking a ride in, you'll get to experience just how exhilarating flying in an open cockpit is. And with the guidance and input of your pilot, you can decide whether it's taking in the sights or, if you're confident enough to, take the controls once airborne. The possibilities are endless!

- You must declare yourself medically fit to fly and complete a consent form
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch but will only be able to view the take off and landing
