About the experience

Do you know that pairing whisky and beer is a popular trend among craft beer and whisky enthusiasts? You can learn all about it by attending an interactive masterclass at a Brewhouse & Kitchen near you! The combination of a strong whisky and a cool beer is called a "boilermaker". To help you discover the magic of this combination, fun tasting workshops have been created. During the tasting session, you will be provided with a lineup of five whiskies and five artisan beers in special tasting glasses. You will make a note of the aromas, taste, and finish of each whisky and then write down the complementary and contrasting flavours of the beer that has been paired with that particular whisky. Aside from the tasting experience, you will also learn about the history and origins of beers and whiskies. You will discover how the distilling and brewing processes are similar and different, all with the same goal - to create a drink that you love. During the masterclass, water and nibbles will be provided. Once the tasting is complete, you will have the opportunity to choose a dish from the B&K Academy menu, which offers a variety of classic pub food options, including vegetarian and vegan dishes.

  • Experiences last approximately 2 hours
