Your qualified instructors will show you how to get on and off the board and teach you the proper paddling techniques. Once you're ready, you'll head out to the calm waters of the river or canal to practice mounts and dismounts and learn the correct ways to paddle. Paddle boarding is a thrilling sport and a lot of fun.   • Minimum age 12, and of average height, to be able to use a paddleboard safely
  • Anyone under the age of 18 must be signed in by a parent or guardian
  • There is no upper age or height limit but there is a weight limit of 18 stone

  • Facilities at the activity centre base include refreshments, toilets and changing areas
  • The centre can also assist with finding suitable overnight accommodation for clients
  • Participants should bring: Swimwear, comfortable clothing (that you don't mind getting wet), towel and trainers or water shoes
  • Wetsuits are provided during autumn and winter months only

  • April to October subject to water levels and weather conditions
  • Sessions are available weekdays and weekends
  • Morning and afternoon sessions are generally available
