About the experience
Leeds Castle has always been one of the major landmarks in the Garden of England that is Kent. So what better way to explore this historic castle and its grounds, than on a Segway Adventure Tour for One? Your adventure will begin from the Segway base, which is situated next to the main ticket office and shop. Don’t worry, as you won’t need to buy a ticket for entrance to the castle in order to ride your Segway. The dedicated team have been running these incredible tours since 2008, and know the route you’ll be taking like the back of their hand - so you’re discovering Leeds Castle under the very best guides! The grounds around the castle itself includes over 500 acres of lush green parkland, and your tour guide will also show you how to operate and control the Segway too. And because it can go cross country off the usual footpaths along a route that’s not normally open to the public, there’s no end to the fun you can have riding on them! Over your hour’s adventure, you can explore the Castle’s famous moat, Maiden’s Tower, Lady Baillie’s Garden and the Aviary, and see this most historic of settings in a whole new light!

- There is a minimum age of 13 years to take part in this experience
- Minimum weight 7 stone
- Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult
- There is a maximum weight limit of 17.5 stone
- This experience is not suitable for those who are pregnant
- Comfortable, outdoor clothing is recommended as well as sensible, flat soled footwear
- There is a maximum group size of 8 participants
- Spectators are welcome to watch participants during the training experience however will not be able to view the experience once participants begin the castle grounds tour
- Free facilities onsite include parking, access to the castle gift shop, a coffee kiosk (open in spring and summer and weekends only in autumn and winter)
- Other facilities that can access by purchasing a entry ticket to the grounds include the onsite restaurant and kids play area
- Entry is £24.50 for adults and £16.50 for children
Minimum Age: 13 years
- Experiences operate seven days a week from March to October
- During Autumn and Winter experiences operate less frequently
