About the experience

No Bushcraft experience is truly complete without an overnight stay. In this outdoor experience for all the family, not only will you learn essential survival skills from an ex Army officer such as starting a fire without matches, how to cook on a campfire and navigation in the wilderness, but also how to sleep soundly in the great outdoors. Just because you don’t have the comfort of a luxurious mattress or central heating, doesn’t mean you won’t have a great night's sleep. In fact, without the distractions of the modern world around you, it will probably be even better sleep than you’re used to. After learning how to construct a shelter, this will become your bedroom for the night which will be a unique experience for all the family. With a range of basha shelters and bunk bed hammocks, this night experience will be one the children will be talking about in many bedtimes to come. Listen to the gentle hum of nature in this Runnymede woodland site as you drift off to sleep under the stars in a shelter you have built together as a family. No night’s sleep will seem quite as rewarding after this. After having a good sleep after all your outdoor activities, you will wake in the morning alongside nature and will use the dutch oven to make breakfast, just like with dinner. Pancakes have never tasted greater after a stint overnight in the outdoors and waking up with the fresh air on your face. After this Bushcraft experience, it can be hard to return back to the demands of normal life. But rest assured, you will be equipped with all the essential outdoor skills to take the family out on any future nomad excursions. If you and the family are craving the ultimate outdoor experience and want to learn how to survive without the comforts of the home, look no further.
