Experience a quintessentially British summer evening at one of England’s finest country house estates, where spectacular picnic concerts combine magnificent orchestral music, thrilling aerial displays and a dazzling fireworks finale. Settle into the historic grounds, unpack your picnic and soak up the festival atmosphere as you prepare for an unforgettable evening of entertainment. Enjoy a stirring musical programme performed by a full orchestra, featuring much-loved classical favourites alongside iconic music from film, television and the musicals. Be captivated by beautiful arias from an incredible soprano, before experiencing the dramatic sounds of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and Beethoven’s Battle Symphony, complete with the thunderous firing of over 200 live cannons. The entertainment begins before the orchestra takes to the stage, with toe-tapping vintage vocals from a live warm-up band to accompany your picnic and a glass of bubbly. Marvel at an impressive mounted cavalry skill-at-arms display, showcasing an array of historic regalia, before looking to the skies for a spectacular freefall performance from the Army’s Red Devils parachute team. Keep your flags at the ready as the legendary ‘Grace’ Spitfire takes to the skies in a breathtaking display, perfectly timed to the orchestra’s opening pieces. As evening falls, join in the traditional sing-along finale, featuring patriotic favourites such as Jerusalem and Rule, Britannia!, before a spectacular firework display illuminates the summer night sky. With stirring music, thrilling displays and an unforgettable atmosphere, these spectacular picnic concerts offer a truly memorable celebration of British tradition and summer entertainment.

Wonderful evening at Ragley Hall. Weather held so all the acts happened. Picnic was fab too. So want to do this again next year

Fabulous concert very well organised excellent music, fireworks, cannons, Spitfire and of course the Red Devils. Weather wasnt too bad either. Would suggest a bigger screen and move the horses so they werent in a dip when everyone crowded to the barriers you could only see the tops of the riders heads if you remained in your chair.

Weather was poor so the Red Devils and the Spitfire was cancelled. Therefore a lot of the attraction was lost.

A lovely evening in a beautiful setting, the combination of music, fireworks, cannons and Spitfire was both enjoyable and memorable. A larger or second screen would have further enhanced the experience and getting out of the car park after the concert was very poorly organised

A great place to go had great time

We were greeted at the gate with bagpipes playing, entry into the concert was swift and we had a fantastic evening from start to finish. The sound system was superb and so was all the entertainment, music and fireworks. One thing that might have enhanced the evening further would have been a second screen the other side of the stage

A fantastic evening. The entertainment was first class great music and extremely atmospheric accompanying canons, fireworks and musket fireA fine evening with sunshine and no rain also contributed.
