    Lemur and Meerkat Experience:

    • Enjoy an opportunity to hand-feed and interact with our meerkats whilst learning about their behaviour and natural history
    • Meet and help feed one of our three lemur species - ring-tailed, black-and-white ruffed or collared brown lemurs

    Please note: Whilst our animals are generally very friendly and may choose to approach or climb onto participants, all interactions are entirely dependent on their behaviour, welfare and willingness to participate. We cannot guarantee particular animals or specific physical interactions, such as stroking, cuddling or handling.

  • What to Wear:

    • Full-length trousers covering the ankles must be worn. Leggings and tights are not permitted
    • Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn. Sandals and Crocs are not permitted
    • Suitable clothing for the weather is essential, as the experience takes place outdoors

    Please note: These clothing and footwear requirements are compulsory for animal welfare and visitor safety reasons.

    • Minimum age 6 years
    • No upper age limits
    • Under 16s must be accompanied by a spectating adult, entry admission fees apply
    • Due to the nature of the animal enclosures, this experience may not be suitable for all wheelchair users or visitors with limited mobility. Please contact before booking to discuss individual accessibility requirements

A really good experience. We met three groups of meerkats and each miniexperience was different from the others. I booked this for my Dads birthday and he had a great time as did the rest of us.

I bought this as a birthday present for my wife who is mad about meerkats. Well worth every penny , with plenty of hands on experience. A very knowledgeable and friendly keeper made the whole experience a joy.

I did the Lemur, Meerkat and Serval experience with my husband and we both loved it our guide was full of information about each animal and obviously cares deeply about them. We had plenty of time in each enclosure and the meerkat cuddles were great, theyre such cute little characters. The opportunity to stroke the servals was amazing, they are such beautiful cats. The whole park is well run, theres a lot to see and do and I think it would be easy to spend most of the day here. Id definitely love to come back, I just wish I lived a bit closer.

I traveled 95 miles with a friend for this experience and it was worth every mile. We sent the 3 hour journey back in traffic queues grinning. What a lovely animal park this is and suitable for any age range who like animals. The environment for each animal has had thought and attention to detail to provide an exceptional environment for them to make their home. All the animals look happy and content. The number of different animals we saw was amazing and there was lots of young and several pairs of animals preparing homes for young. The setting was extremely clean and well maintained with good cafe shop facilities and picnic areas.The experience itself of meeting servals, meerkats, black and white ruffed and ring tail lemurs was fantastic and we had a bonus of meeting a caracal too. The the animals where friendly and content to have us in their home. The keeper Becky knew the animals well and they respected her, she was very friendly and answered all our questions even the silly ones people ask when excited. I will go again and try one of the many other experiences they have to offer. I will also go just for a visit to wander round and listen to the animal talks. The sheep race at the end of the day was extremely entertaining.Heather from Leyland

A magical experience both the Lemurs and Meerkats are such good fun, and we have now named it the manic hour for all the right reasonsYou go into the enclosure with the animals and feed them, but you also end up wearing them as they are all over you, which is an absolute delight.The HooZoo keepers revery friendly and informative and are happy to use your camera or phone to take photos.I highly recommend it as an experience you will never forget.
