Meet the meerkats at Millets Farm, watch them play, discover everything there is to know about them, and even feed them! Available for kids as young as 10 years old, these furry-filled fun Meerkat days are an ideal day out. The star Meerkat couple are Tom and Ginger and they are the leaders of the Meerkat family in Oxfordshire. They are housed in a sisable enclosure with foraging trails and caves - and it is a walk-through for VIPS! Living in 'gangs' or 'mobs' of up to 50 in the wild, which are made up of parents, siblings, and extended family, they are very family-oriented. They alternate the sentry patrols, which involves standing on hind legs and keeping an eye out for any potential threats or predators - which also happens to be extremely entertaining and adorable (albeit extremely necessary in the wild). They have all day to play - find food - and look after their young.

If you love Meerkats, then this is an experience that you need to take part in, the time spent learning about these little guys and interacting with them was fantastic, I will be going again in the future as now want to see how the Meerkat family here grow as the time goes by, with any luck might even see some little ones in a future visit.

Brilliant day out Millets Wildside. Not only did we have the Meerkat Encounter, but you can also watch the bird of prey display.Feeding and learning about the Meerkats is a must for any animal lover. They are hilarious
