Meet the amazing animals with the carnivore combo experience for two at Hoo Farm, north of Telford. The Keeper will introduce you to three animals, the fantastic red fox family, snakes you get to stroke and the serval cats Zeus and Dooma to cuddle. All the animals are tame and love to meet people especially if you give them some treats. You will get to give these animals their food but don't worry you won't be on the menu, the animals much prefer chicken or some rabbit (hopefully you’re not squeamish). The brilliant keepers at Hoo Farm will tell you all about the residents when you get up close to the animals that most people only see from the other side of the enclosures fence. You will both have an unforgettable hour with these captivating carnivores.

    Itinerary

    • Skunks - Meet our skunks and enjoy the opportunity to handle them
    • Foxes - Hand-feed our red or corsac foxes whilst learning about their behaviour and adaptations
    • Wild Cats - Enjoy an opportunity to fence-feed a serval, with a bobcat as an alternative
    • Reptiles - Meet and potentially handle a snake, usually a royal python, although the species used can vary (As of January 2027 the Snake will be replaced with a African Pygmy Hedgehog Encounter)

    Please note: All animal interactions are subject to the animals' behaviour, welfare and willingness to participate. Specific handling and feeding opportunities cannot be guaranteed.

    • Participants should arrive 10 minutes before their session start time for registration

    What to Wear:

    • Full-length trousers covering the ankles must be worn. Leggings and tights are not permitted
    • Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn. Sandals and Crocs are not permitted
    • Suitable clothing for the weather is essential, as the experience takes place outdoors

    Please note: These clothing and footwear requirements are compulsory for animal welfare and visitor safety reasons.

Loved the day, was a little disappointed the experience we paid for was not available nobody had told us Will the Hoo Farm team made sure we had a day we will never forget, above beyond what we were expecting

This made a wonderful birthday present for my husband, not only did we get to feed the raccoon dogs and foxes but to stroke the servals made his day. My only other comment would that people should definitely heed the advice about sensible footwear animal enclosures are not the places to wear pretty shoes
