Welcome to the Boeing 737 Future Flyer Programme! Designed especially for budding aviators aged 12 to 21, this exciting course offers five 90-minute shared simulator sessions at a renowned aviation centre based at Luton Airport. You’ll be flying a cutting-edge, fixed-base Boeing 737-800 simulator, featuring stunning 220-degree wraparound visuals powered by a 4K projector. It’s so realistic, you'll feel like you're sitting in a real cockpit preparing for take-off! Each participant is paired with a fellow Future Flyer, and together you’ll follow a flight training programme modelled on the same structure used by commercial pilots. The first session introduces you to the basics—climbing, turning, and descending—before progressing to more advanced skills. As your training continues, you’ll tackle ILS and visual approaches, practice full flight deck procedures, and even take off and land at some of the world’s most challenging airports. One of the best parts? You can complete all five sessions over a couple of days, across a week, or spread them out to suit your schedule. Courses are available during major school holidays—including summer and half-terms—as well as after school, making them perfect for aspiring pilots still in education. - Lesson One: Learn basic flying skills - Climbs, descents, turns, incl steep turns
- Lesson Two: Circuits incl. setting up ILS (Instrument Landing Systems) and low visibility approaches
- Lesson Three: Fly an airport route with proper procedures
- Lesson Four: Practice takeoff and landing at challenging airports
- Lesson Five: Independent Flight Challenge
