    Itinerary:
    • Welcome and introduction to the day
    • The 'A' Check: A thorough pre-flight check of the aircraft systems and the reasons behind the check.
    • Introduction and Briefing (Classroom Session): The instructor will talk you through the aspects of becoming a private pilot, which includes medicals, theoretical training, flight training and exams. You will also have a brief on the basic controls of the aircraft and their effects.
    • Pre-Flight Planning (Classroom Session): With the instruction team, gain an insight into how to plan a route in its basic form and how to fly the planned route. You'll review the weather, aircraft performance and plan the outbound and return flight and include diversion options.
    • The Flights: With our planning and preparation complete, you will fly to the planned destination and land. You'll then set off for the return journey with the assistance of your instructor, should this be required.
    • Spectators are more then welcome to watch both take off and landing

    • Under 28s must always be accompanied by an adult on the airfield
