About the experience
Take an immersive and exciting journey through motorsport with The Silverstone Experience for Two. This brand-new visitor attraction at the iconic home of British motorsport takes you on a thrilling journey through the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor racing - perfect to share with that special motor enthusiast in your life whatever the occasion - anniversaries, birthdays, or even for an unusual date idea! It is packed with hands-on activities that all ages will love. Get up close to winning Formula 1 cars, practice your skills as an RAF pilot, try commentating on a race and find out about the science behind the sport and how vehicles of victory are made in the Tech Lab. Add to this a virtual lap cinema race experience with commentary from Murray Walker. Go out the back doors of the museum and walk the old track on the outdoor track trail and catch a glimpse of the action on todays track.

Vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase.

Museum opening hours are Monday - Friday: 10am - 4pm, with last admission at 2pm, and on Saturday - Sunday from 10am – 5pm, with last admission at 3pm. Café closes at 4pm.
The museum will be closed on the following days in 2024: Monday 5th February / Tuesday 6th February / Wednesday 1st May / Thursday 2nd May / Thursday 4th July / Friday 5th July / Saturday 6th July / Sunday 7th July / Friday 2nd August / Saturday 3rd August / Sunday 4th August / Friday 23rd August / Saturday 24th August / Sunday 25th August
Access cannot be allowed to the Silverstone Museum on these main event dates at the Circuit unless a main event ticket is also held by all attendees:
- Formula 1 British Grand Prix: 4th - 7th July
- MotoGP British Grand Prix: 2nd - 4th August
- Silverstone Festival: 23rd - 25th August
- British Touring Cars Championship: 21st - 22nd September
There is also a gift shop available at the museum.
The Silverstone Experience is predominantly indoors, except for the outdoor heritage track trail.
