About the experience
This is one walking tour of London that is most elementary, my dear Watson, as you will follow in the footsteps of the ultimate fictional sleuth, Sherlock Holmes. The creation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, first in short stories published in the late 19th century, and then in one of four novels, he is probably the best known detective in literature, and has been brought to life in countless stage, film and television adaptations - over 25,000 in fact, which makes Sherlock a Guinness World Record holder as the most portrayed literary character in film and TV history, most notably, of recent times, by Benedict Cumberbatch in the hit BBC One TV series, Sherlock. And whatever your entry point to Sherlock Holmes is, you’re sure to find out lots of fascinating insights and facts from your expert tour guide over the course of your two hour tour. And because the tour groups are conducted in small numbers, it means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to hear and see everything and ask questions, as you explore some key locations from both the books and film/TV adaptations, as you traverse the very same streets and alleyways that Sherlock and Watson walked along. Lots of people who come on this tour like to engage in a bit of fancy dress and really get into the spirit of things - which is optional, but hey, it could make it even more fun if you’re a bit of a Sherlock fanatic!

Information
- No minimum age is required, however under 12's must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Spectators are not permitted
- If you would like friends and family to join you on the tour simply purchase a ticket for the necessary group size
- Bring along your cameras as there are plenty of great photo opportunities
