About the experience
This Meerkat Experience in Hailsham, is a must-try for all animal lovers out there. You'll get to spend time with these furry and curious creatures in the company of an expert meerkat keeper. Despite not being a native species in the UK, meerkats have always been a favourite among visitors of all ages. The East Sussex adventure park is home to several lively meerkats living in the splendid Jungle Kingdom area. During the experience, you'll get to learn about their unique personalities and get up close to these adorable animals. The experienced meerkat trainer will lead you inside the enclosure, where you'll be able to take a seat and watch these curious animals explore their surroundings. Meerkats are naturally curious and are often very interested in getting to know their visitors. You'll see them standing on their hind legs and looking towards you in that classic meerkat pose, so make sure you have your camera ready! The keeper will also provide you with interesting facts and information about meerkats in general, making it a truly memorable visit. Information
- Spectators must pay a supplement to enter the park, payable direct when making your booking or on the day
- Guests will remain outside of the meerkat enclosure
- Guide dogs only are allowed on site
- Ample free parking with numerous cafes and restaurants
- Picnics welcome with out door picnic tables available
- Minimum age 8
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, if the adult is not taking part then they will need to pay an entry fee on the day
- Please note that this experience is not suitable for wheelchair access
Minimum Age: 8 years
- Participants should be aware that Meerkats may scratch at camera lenses: the venue cannot take responsibility for personal possessions
- Drinks and snacks can be purchased from the on-site café
- Long sleeved clothing and long trousers must be worn with closed in flat shoes
- Available on selected weekdays and weekend dates throughout the year
- 10.30am to 11am or 12pm to 12.30pm - All year round
- 3pm to 3.30pm - November to March
- 4pm to 4.30pm - April to October
