If you have never heard of cryotherapy treatment, this is your chance to try it in Sevenoaks and experience the benefits that regular users of cryotherapy enjoy. Although it may feel chilly, it is going to feel good! Cryotherapy treatment is all about how your body reacts to being in cold temperatures. When you cool down, your body's natural defences kick in and it sends super-oxygenated blood to the surface of the skin, which increases blood flow and circulation. This helps flush toxins from your body, resulting in recovery, revitalisation and rejuvenation. For your whole body cryotherapy treatment, you will be using the latest Cryoair chamber. It is similar to a walk-in tanning booth, except it is filled with air-cooled to around -85 degrees. Although this may seem pretty cold, it is a dry kind of cold. You will be wearing undergarments, and your extremities (feet, hands, and head) will be covered. Face masks are also available. You will then walk into the chamber, ready for your three-minute blast in the cold. During the three minutes, the cold air cools your surface temperature rather than the body's core, and the reactions that we described earlier start to take place. When you walk out of the cryotherapy chamber, it's a pretty amazing feeling, as your body immediately feels rejuvenated from the rush of endorphins.
