About the experience
Indulge in the exciting adventure of archery in Sittingbourne, located in the picturesque Wormdale Farm, right in the heart of the Swale district in Kent. Get ready to experience the thrill of hitting the target with your arrows in the all-inclusive sessions offered here. Upon arrival, you will be assigned a modern re-curve bow based on your physique, and divided into shooting squads. A safety briefing will follow to ensure that safety is maintained at all times. You will then head out to the archery challenge area, where you'll find freshly mown lawns and traditional round-style targets, placed between 15 and 20 metres away, with black, blue, red and gold concentric circles. It takes skill and technique to master archery, and that's why we offer top-notch coaching to help you learn the correct stance, control your breathing, set up your shot, and release your arrow to hit the target. With a competitive element to the sport, the instructors will keep individual scorecards for you, allowing you to track your progression and compete with others. You'll have up to 50 arrows to shoot, and lessons will last around one hour. Sessions are offered all year round, weather permitting, and all necessary equipment is provided.
