Begin your flying journey with this realistic Boeing 737 flight simulator at Blackpool Airport. Although it can be tempting to jump aboard a physical plane for your first flying lesson, learning in a simulator is just as valuable as you can go beyond your comfort zone, and safely try new flying conditions and maneouvers. There’s good reason why these sims are used to train commercial pilots simply because they offer the most realistic flying experience you can get without flying a physical plane. As soon as you step aboard this sim you will notice how lifelike it is, with the fully functional flight deck with all the dials and buttons. You may even hear the ‘ping’ of the seatbelt sight come on as you begin your journey to one of 24,000 airports to choose from. Although you’ll be in the captain’s seat, you’ll have a commercial airline pilot with you the whole time offering flying guidance and tips as you navigate your chosen flight conditions. But this is not only an experience for you, as you can invite up to 5 passengers to join you and sit in the cabin seats. If you have some friends who are curious about flying and want to experience the sim without having the responsibility of being captain, an invite along to this session would be ideal. A birthday present from my girlfriend and what an experience it was. I really did not believe how realistic it was, at one point in the flight when we banked hard to the left I had to convince my self we where still on the ground. Both pilots who helped me through the whole process where professional throughout and made it an experience I will never forget would gladly recommend to anyone. Thank you it was fantastic

My wife treat me to the experience of f'lying' a 737 at Blackpool airport, and to be honest it was one of the best things I have ever done.
My instructor was patient and very informative which made the experience even better, and I was immediately put in charge of 'flying' the plane after an explanation of the controls and a briefing video. Make no mistake, this is exactly like the real thing.
I flew to, and landed at, Manchester airport and then made a return flight back to land in Blackpool. Just great, apart from having to attempt a clean landing 4 times until I got it right.
Although I put solo below, you can take along a couple or more people who sit behind you in the simulator.
