Innsbruck International Airport (IATA code INN) is no ordinary airstrip; it's classified as a Category C aerodrome, thanks to its unique and challenging approach. Captains flying into Innsbruck must undergo specialised briefings and simulator training, just like what you'll experience here (minus the actual Alps, unfortunately) Alongside the breathtaking scenery of snow-capped mountaintops, our simulator can replicate the exact weather conditions that make Innsbruck such a test of skill. - Suitable for novices, frequent passengers or fully trained pilots
- Although this is a ‘fixed base' simulator which does not move, a multi projector system delivers a ‘full motion' experience
- Suitable for disabled participants, with disabled access and facilities available
- Under 18s must always be accompanied by an adult
- Experience available 7 days a week throughout the year
- Generally runs between 10:00-19:00
Minimum Age: 12 years
- Spectators are welcome to wait in reception
- Gate to Gate: Upgrade when booking your date on the day for £30 adding an extra 15-minutes to your experience. This gives you to opportunity to start the aircraft, taxi to the runway then return to the gate and complete a full shutdown
- A DVD or USB drive of your flight is available as a momento of your day for £30 payable on the day
- Free parking and disabled access
- The licensed onsite Aviator restaurant offers superb views of the airfield, serving hot and cold food.
