Looking for an adventure? Look no further! Experience the freedom of flying and take to the skies with our comprehensive flying lessons at Wellesbourne Mountford Aerodrome in Warwickshire. Our flight training centre, headed by flying principal Rodney Galiffe, has been training new pilots since 1982. We are proud to have trained hundreds of Air Cadets and pilots of all levels. Our South Warwickshire flight centre is an excellent place to learn, offering top-notch teaching and is approved under EASA regulations by the UK CAA. We offer trial flights for those new to flying. Fly for 3x One-hour sessions in a two-seater aircraft, such as Cessna and Pipers, from Wellesbourne Mount. The airfield provides an ideal location for flying, with no commercial traffic or smog, just open, flat Warwickshire countryside to explore. On the day of your lesson, your flying instructor will greet you. You'll walk out onto the tarmac apron to the aircraft, and once you're comfortable in your harness, you'll be shown the cockpit instruments and primary flying controls. There will be no queuing on the runway for take-off behind other air traffic, so you'll maximise your time in the air. Ready to take the next step? - Lessons will count towards the total hours needed should you wish to continue studying for your Private Pilots licence
- AFE Introductory flying lesson booklet is included

- Minimum age is 14 years old
- Minimum height is 4'6", maximum height is 6'4"
- There is a maximum weight limit of 14 stone for 2 seater flights and 18 stone for 4 seater flights
- Photographic ID may be requested
- Participants of 4 seater flights may bring one interested observer as a passenger at the pilots discretion
- Lessons are available weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- All lessons are subject to weather conditions and availability
Minimum Age: 14 years
- Spectators are welcome to attend and watch from the picnic and viewing areas around the Clubhouse
- There is a cafeteria on site serving cold snacks and drinks
