Set inside the incredible Llechwedd slate caverns in North Wales, this unique underground adventure combines the excitement of a high ropes course with the atmosphere of a historic former slate mine. This voucher is valid for two people, giving you both the chance to tackle an action-packed course filled with zip lines, rope bridges, via ferrata and challenging obstacles. With atmospheric lighting and music bringing the vast underground caverns to life, it’s an adventure unlike anything above ground. Access to the caverns is surprisingly straightforward, with a level walk along the main tunnel leading you into the first enormous cavern. Once inside, you will experience temperatures of around 6–8°C, making it a cool adventure whatever the weather outside. Before setting off, expert Zip World instructors will provide a training session, showing you how to safely clip in and out as you make your way around the course. You will also complete a short practice run to help you get comfortable with the equipment before the real adventure begins. Then it’s time to take on the Caverns! Climb, clamber and traverse your way through the underground course, cross suspended rope bridges and soar through the caverns on exhilarating zip lines as you explore this remarkable subterranean setting.
