When you go quad biking in the north east, it's all about the Woodland Wander in Matfen Forest, located on the impressive Matfen Estate. This is the closest outdoor activity centre to Newcastle, yet it feels like you're truly in the wild, with vast countryside to explore. To start, you'll warm up in the training area, which includes the unique artificial forest. Once you've mastered that, you'll enjoy a lively game of quad footer- a fun mix of football and an agility course- and, as you might expect, it's a lot of fun. After the laughs, you'll be deemed ready for the main event: your woodland quad adventure in the north east. Driving through the woods, you'll encounter slopes, drops, ditches, and other natural obstacles. You'll navigate a network of paths that weave through this impressive site, guided by an instructor. After about an hour on the quads, you'll head back to civilisation.
