About the Experience

This woodland activity session promises to be a really fun and adventurous family day out with a difference. Set in the majestic countryside of Cumbria and the Lake District, this guided nature experience offers plenty of enjoyment whether it's sunny or rainy. It's not only a joyful experience but an informative one too; getting to learn more about the ways of woodland life, such as forest survival skills, tips on foraging, and also playing some games that everyone of all ages can enjoy. One thing's for sure, they're sure to come away with big smiles all round!

    • This ticket is only suitable for participants between 5 and 17 years old.
    • There is also an an adult Woodland Activities in the Lake District ticket available.
    • Unfortunately, the Lake District woodland experiences are not wheelchair accessible.
  • Please dress according to the weather on the day of your woodland activity experience, with sensible walking shoes and a waterproof jacket, depending on the weather.

  • The Woodland Activities in the Lake District for 2 Children is for 2 participants, although the experience is suitable for groups of up to 11. Spectators are not allowed on site. Please note, this experience requires a minimum of 3 participants in order to run.

  • The woodland activity experience in the Lake District lasts for up to 3 hours. You can expect to be at the venue for a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

    • Minimum Age: 5 years
    • Maximum Age: 17 years

  • This Lake District woodland activity runs in most weather conditions, but in the event of extreme weather it will be rescheduled for a more suitable time.

    • The woodland activity experiences run on Mondays and Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm,  throughout the year. Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
    • The woodland activities experience includes a variety of fun and educational outdoor activities designed specifically for children, such as nature trails, team-building games, obstacle courses, and much more.
    • No prior experience is necessary! The activities are designed for children of all skill levels, and experienced instructors will be there to guide them.
