Wing Walking in Shropshire! The legendary AeroSuperBatics team is bringing their incredible display to Sleap Airfield near Shrewsbury, offering exclusive wing walking days for thrill-seekers brave enough to take flight on the wing of a vintage Boeing Stearman. Sleap Airfield might be small, but it’s full of character, with fantastic facilities for pilots, wing walkers, and spectators. The on-site café is a favourite spot, and the warm welcome from the Sleap crew makes it the perfect home for these adrenaline-packed experiences. You’ll be securely strapped into a harness on top of a 1940s Boeing Stearman biplane—an aircraft as agile and fun to fly today as it was decades ago. As the engine roars to life, you’ll feel the wheels lift off the runway before soaring into the skies with sweeping views of the Welsh hills. Friends and family can watch from the café garden as you zoom overhead—don’t forget to wave! For an extra rush, your pilot can add aerobatics to your display, or keep things smooth and steady if you’d prefer. Whether it’s high-octane stunts or a more relaxed flight, wing walking at Sleap Airfield promises an unforgettable adventure in the skies.
