This leisurely guided ride is a wonderful way for two people to explore the iconic grounds of Windsor Castle—one of the UK’s most beloved Royal landmarks—while soaking up history, fresh air and stunning countryside views.

Designed to maximise your time at Windsor Castle, the refined route ensures a relaxed and enjoyable pace. Your guide will keep you entertained with fascinating stories throughout the ride, and you will stop at the charming Dorney Court Tudor mansion, where you can treat yourself to tea and cakes. If time allows, you will also pedal along Eton High Street to glimpse the oldest school in England before returning to Windsor and Eton Riverside Station.

Perfect for anyone comfortable on a bike, this gentle tour offers a unique and memorable way to experience one of Britain’s most beautiful historic settings. Jump in the saddle and enjoy a refreshing day out at Windsor Castle!

  • You must be 5 foot or taller and able to ride a bike and enjoy this Windsor Castle cycle tour.

    This is an easy cycle at a relaxed pace, so you don't need to be particularly fit or an avid cyclist to enjoy the day.

    *Please Note: This Windsor Castle Bike tour is a cycle-only experience and does not include entry into the Castle itself.

  • We recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather on the day, perhaps wearing layers that can be added/removed as necessary.

    Please wear shoes or trainers that are suitable for cycling.

    Ponchos are available in the event of showers.

    You will be cycling on a vintage-style bike and will be provided with a helmet upon arrival.

  • The Windsor Castle and Thames Valley cycling tour runs from April - October, on the following days: Thursday 10:30 and Saturday 10:30

    (Please note, this is subject to availability at the time of booking.)

    The Windsor Castle bike tour is a 3 hour experience, covering approximately 8 miles in total - the majority of the route being traffic-free.

    Tours usually depart at 10:30 and 14:30.

    • Minimum Height: 60.00 cm

  • Your Windsor Castle cycle tour will go ahead if it is raining - you will simply be provided with ponchos.

    However, if it is affected by extreme weather conditions, the guides will contact you as soon as possible to inform you and reschedule for an alternative date
