Looking to go quad biking near Manchester? You're in the right spot! Located near the M60 at Eccles, just a few miles west of the Trafford Centre, you'll find Botany Bay Woods. Here, a fleet of quads awaits to take you on an exciting and thrilling adventure. Join a guided quad trek in Manchester, where your instructor leads the group into the woodland along tracks and trails. The dense trees mean you'll dodge branches, roll over stumps, splash through mud, and glide along leaf-covered paths. Besides natural obstacles, you'll also face man-made challenges such as seesaws, jumps, and bumps to test your skills. The goal is to enjoy yourself, so you'll be encouraged to push your limits without feeling out of your comfort zone. It's all about having fun. The quad bikes are easy to ride, fully automatic- similar to riding a bicycle with handlebars and brake levers- without pedalling. The power is ready, so focus on steering and choosing the best line through the trees. Unpredictable weather makes each session different. This will be explained in the pre-trek briefing, so you're prepared. If it's raining, expect mud; if dry, dust will fly. Dress accordingly- coveralls are available for a small fee- and avoid wearing brand-new white trainers. Covering around 300 acres, the site offers plenty to explore. Your session lasts about 50 minutes, during which you'll be on your own full-size quad.

- Safety briefing and instruction on driving the quads
- 50 minutes driving the quad (including a 5-minute briefing)
- Tackle a range of natural and man-made obstacles
- Drive a full-sized Kymco quad bike
- Equipment is provided, including crash helmets and gloves
- A head covering or balaclava must be worn under the helmet - bring your own or purchase on the day (£1 for hair nets and £3 for balaclavas)
- Experience 'the rollercoaster' with a tree-trunk and see-saw finish on reserved sections of the track
- Please allow approximately 1-1.5 hours on site for this experience
- Receive a private quad trek just for you and your group

- Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
- Arms and legs must be covered
- Overalls are available if required for £3 per person
- Refreshments are available for purchase
- On-site toilet facilities
- Spectators are welcome, although due to the nature of this activity, viewing is limited

- A good, general level of fitness is required
