Set in the mature grounds of a restored manor house, this small, family-run holiday park offers pods, holiday homes, and pitches, all surrounded by peace and quiet. With star-filled skies far from the city lights, you’ll have the perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings and lazy mornings. The location makes exploring easy too. You’re minutes from Tavistock’s market town buzz, shops, cafés, pool, and arts centre, while Devon’s coastal paths and fishing villages are just a short drive away. Each pod is crafted from hardwood, fully insulated, and fitted with heating and lighting. Step outside to your covered verandah, complete with table and chairs, and soak up the country air. When you’re ready to stretch your legs, wander to the manor house, where you’ll find a bar, games, and a dining room serving evening meals. This is all about low-key, laid-back Devonshire hospitality – no loud shows, just good food and friendly company. Available from March to November, each pod sleeps up to two, making this two-night glamping break an ideal romantic getaway or a relaxed mini-break with friends. We enjoyed our stay emensley. The pod and all the facilities were immaculate. Our pod was in a secluded spot with plenty of garden around it and a screened area for parking. We enjoyed it so much that we booked to go back in 4 weeks time.
