Arts and Crafts Experience Days: Discover the art of wood carving with this immersive two-day course, and take home your very own hand-carved masterpiece!

Available at venues in Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, and Wolverhampton, this hands-on course is perfect for beginners or those with some carving experience. Over two days, your expert instructor—boasting 25 years of experience—will guide you step by step, teaching you how to use a variety of tools and techniques to carve into limewood. With individual attention throughout, you’ll work at your own pace, developing your skills and creativity.

All equipment is provided, so all you need is your imagination and some clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy! This Two-Day Wood Carving Experience also makes a thoughtful gift for any artistic friend or loved one.

  • The minimum age to take part is 16 years old, and participants do not need an adult to supervise.

    The venues are wheelchair accessible. The Chillington bathrooms have a very small step

  • It is recommended that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy, closed-toe footwear.

  • This is a two-day course that will run on selected days throughout the year.  Each day runs from 10am until 4pm. Please note that these are subject to availability at the time of booking.

    The Two-Day Wood Carving Experience runs with a minimum of 2 and can fit up to 15 people per session.

    Time Spent at Venue: 13:00

    The Two Day Wood Carving Experience is expected to last around 6 hours each day. Your experience duration is from 10:00am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
