Available at venues in Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, and Wolverhampton, this course is perfect for beginners as well as those with some carving experience. You’ll learn to handle traditional tools—a mallet and chisel—while receiving individual step-by-step guidance to bring your design to life.

Stone carving is an art that has endured for centuries, and during this workshop, you’ll gain a unique insight into this timeless craft. Light refreshments are included, and you can enjoy lunch at the onsite bakery and café. By the end of the course, you’ll take home your own hand-carved masterpiece.

This Two-Day Stone Carving Experience makes a thoughtful and memorable gift for any artistic or creative loved one.

  • The minimum age to take part is 16 years old and participants do not need an adult to supervise.

    The venues are wheelchair accessible. The Chillington bathrooms have a very small step.

  • It is recommended that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy, closed-toe footwear.

  • This is a two day course that will run on selected dates throughout the year. Please note that these are only scheduled and subject to availability at the time of booking.
