The Tiger Moth experience today was all that I hoped it would be, exhilarating and wonderful to fly in such a historical aircraft, expertly flown by Simon who was informative and thoughtful in ensuring we travelled over the area I live in, and then up the river where I saw a Thames barge. A superb pilot and aircraft and an unforgettable experience that will live long in my memory

It was a gloriously sunny day.The Boeing Stearman was a stunning plane and an honour to fly in. Breath taking. Tony was brilliant, welcoming, calm and informative. To even have a go at steering the plane was a real treat. Definitely recommend.

The Tiger Moth I was to have been in had to be taken out of service owing to a fault. I did however have a good flight in the Spearman bi plane which was a wonderful experience. However I had to wait 2 hours before I was able to fly, and having all my family with me including 3 small grandchildren it was a long wait for them.

The flight gave me many emotions thoughts even more once I landed. Richard the pilot was such a nice guy explaining everything about the plane the flight before we took off. I had reservations as not knowing how I or how my body would react to being up high in an open cockpit but was also extremely excited. We took off so gracefully soon was up in the air which was fabulous flying over the Dartford bridge. I could see home, we flew over Blue water Ebbsfleet then started to fly down towards the Grain area, as looking out over the Thames Estuary my thoughts of the brave young men that fought in these very skies during WW2 gave me a bigger love if at all possible the total respect for fighter pilots who had trained in this very plane then fought in the very sky I was flying in with many losing their lives. The atmosphere of being so high the vulnerability giving me a greater sense feel for the fabulous life family I have. Ive always said its great to never take life for granted its good to push boundaries even scare yourself to understand what you have. I did enjoy the experience its given me more than I could have imagined. The only problem I had strangely was the turbulence in an open cockpit made me feel a little sick which took me by surprise as flow many times in helicopters. It is an amazing experience, to be in a plane that is 93 years old one of the oldest with such a history I definitely say G ACDC has a place in my heart for ever. Even managed to purchase a model of one very similar which is in my man cave on my desk as a reminder of the incredible day.
