Meet Ernie (born 1936), Walter (born 1946), and Ethel (born 1956) — three gleaming heritage buses lovingly maintained and ready to whisk you away for your themed trip. Each journey captures the spirit of the 1940s, 50s, or 60s, complete with authentic music and nostalgic flair. On arrival, step aboard a steam-hauled train for a round trip through the picturesque Derbyshire countryside. Settle into your seat and enjoy a welcome glass of Prosecco as stewards serve a luxury afternoon tea — a tempting mix of sweet and savoury delights paired with freshly brewed Taylor’s of Harrogate tea or coffee. As the scenery drifts by, enjoy live music from your chosen decade. The 1940s Tea features swing, big band and jazz tunes from Bing Crosby and Vera Lynn; the 1950s Tea celebrates rock ’n’ roll and Merseybeat; and the 1960s Tea brings The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and the golden age of pop to life.
