Surfing Experience Days: Dive into the thrill of surfing with this fun-filled group lesson in Northumberland! Over two hours, you’ll learn the essential skills to get you standing on your board and riding waves with confidence.

Your experience begins at one of five stunning Northumberland beaches, where you’ll meet your instructor and fellow surfers. After getting kitted out in wetsuits, you’ll start on the sand, practising paddling and ‘pop up’ techniques before heading into the water to put your new skills to the test. There’s nothing quite like the buzz of catching your first wave, and by the end of the session, you’ll be well on your way to mastering this addictive sport.

Perfect as a gift for adventurous friends or family—or simply as a fun new activity to try yourself—this surfing lesson is a brilliant introduction to one of the world’s most exhilarating watersports.

  • Minimum Age: 8

    Participants need to be reasonably fit and be confident swimmers.

  • Please be sure to bring with you a towel, swimming costume and something to drink.

    Your Wetsuit and Surfboard will be provided.

  • This surfing lesson is available throughout the year, subject to availability.
