As long as you are both at least eight years old and confident swimmers, you are ready to get started. Your voucher includes a two-hour surf session at either Summerleaze Beach in the heart of Bude or Widemouth Bay just south of the town. Both locations offer fantastic surf conditions and classic North Cornwall coastal scenery. You will be taught by expert surf instructors who are passionate about what they do and love sharing their local knowledge. All equipment is provided, and you will meet on the beach around 15 minutes before your session to get kitted out and ready to go. During the session, you will learn all the essentials together — from handling the board and paddling out, to popping up and riding your first waves. Summerleaze offers sheltered conditions ideal for beginners, while Widemouth Bay has waves for all levels, both with relaxed, surfy vibes.
