About the experience

Product ID: 16067

Capture the magic of sunset photography at the breathtaking Kenilworth Castle. Join expert landscape photographer Alan for an evening workshop set against the dramatic backdrop of these historic castle ruins. Dating back to the Norman era of the 1120s and later transformed during Elizabethan times, Kenilworth Castle is steeped in history. Now a majestic ruin cared for by English Heritage, it offers an unforgettable setting for your photography session. This workshop focuses on mastering long-exposure photography. Suitable for all levels—including complete beginners—you’ll benefit from small group sizes (a maximum of six participants) to ensure plenty of individual guidance. As the sun sinks behind the ancient walls, the castle is bathed in golden light, with the evening sky often putting on a spectacular show. It’s easy to see why Kenilworth is one of Alan’s favourite locations to photograph. You’ll learn the techniques for capturing stunning long-exposure, low-light, and night-time shots, as well as how to adapt to the ever-changing conditions of light and weather. Alan will guide you through every step, helping you overcome any challenges. Beyond the photography itself, these workshops have a warm, friendly atmosphere, bringing together like-minded enthusiasts to capture some of the most atmospheric images of Kenilworth Castle at night.
