About the Steam Train Sparkling Afternoon Tea for Two Offer

Join us for an enchanting Steam Train Afternoon Tea in Somerset, complete with extra sparkle! Indulge in a delightful selection of sweet and savory treats, complemented by a glass of Prosecco, all served at your table on board the steam train at East Somerset Railway. You will board the steam-hauled train departing from Cranmore Station at 3:30 PM. Your reserved table in the Mendip Belle first-class dining car will be set up and ready for you to enjoy your afternoon tea. As the train journeys from Cranmore along the heritage railway line to Mendip Vale station and back, you can relax and take in the beautiful Somerset views—definitely worthy of a toast with your flute of Prosecco! Your onboard afternoon tea platter includes four finger sandwiches, three dainty miniature cakes, and, of course, scones served with clotted cream and jam. Alongside your glass of bubbly, there will also be a pot of freshly brewed tea waiting for you at the table. The East Somerset Railway is a wonderful place to explore. Take the opportunity to meet the passionate team and enjoy the stunning scenery. We recommend arriving earlier in the day to visit the museum, engine shed, and workshop, where all the restoration work takes place. You are welcome to travel on any other scheduled services on the day of your booking. This means you can hop on and off the train at your leisure (we recommend walking back to Cranmore from Cranmore West!) and make the most of your Steam Train Afternoon Tea experience in Somerset.
