About the Experience

Fancy spending the day brewing your very own beer? This full-day experience in Southampton gives you the chance to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the art of brewing, with plenty of tasting along the way. You’ll be guided through each stage of the process, from mashing and sparging to boiling and fermenting, so even if you’ve never brewed before you’ll soon be feeling like a pro. The day kicks off with a warm welcome, a bacon butty and a proper cuppa to set you up before meeting the head brewer. Once the introductions are done it’s time to get hands-on, learning the tricks of the trade while sampling a range of the brewery’s pale and dark ales. When hunger strikes, you’ll pause for a tasty pub lunch paired with a refreshing pint, then head back to finish perfecting your brew. Throughout the day you’ll enjoy tastings of both in-house creations and international favourites, while picking up expert knowledge that will change the way you see your next pint. To round things off, you’ll take home your very own mini keg of beer worth £25, or if you prefer, you can pop back in a couple of weeks to collect the keg of beer you helped create yourself. It’s a brilliant experience for anyone who loves their ale and wants to discover what really goes into making it.

  • The Minimum age for this experience is 18 years old.

  • You can wear whatever you like for your Experience - bear in mind that you may need to roll up your sleeves and get hands on at some points!

  • This brewery experience is usually run on Fridays and Saturdays weekly (subject to availability). With the maximum group size 11. The day is a very social experience, so it works well for group bookings. Single participants and small groups/couples may be added to a larger group experience. Please note, this experience is not suitable for spectators, although they are welcome to enjoy the pub facilities upon pick-up or drop off.

  • The Experience lasts for approximately 7 hours with a 10am start time.

    There will be a mid-morning snack break, and then a lunch break at approximately 13:30 - this will include a wide range of dishes from the pub menu.

    You will also be tasting beers throughout the day.
