Cooking Experience Days: Master the art of rolling perfect sushi using only the freshest ingredients at this hands-on Sushi Masterclass in London.

If you have only ever sampled supermarket sushi, you will know it simply doesn’t compare to the real thing. Properly seasoned sticky rice, crisp nori and vibrant fillings bursting with flavour – freshly made sushi is in a league of its own. The good news? It’s far easier to make than you might think, and this expert-led class will show you exactly how.

Held in Lewisham, this intimate workshop is limited to just twelve participants, ensuring plenty of one-to-one guidance. After a demonstration covering essential techniques and equipment, you will get stuck in – spreading rice onto nori, adding fillings from julienned vegetables to fresh fish, and mastering the all-important roll. Along the way, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and soft drinks as you refine your skills.

Once your sushi rolls are neatly sliced and ready to serve, you will sit down together to taste your creations and share the experience. Ideal for food lovers keen to expand their culinary repertoire, this Sushi Masterclass in South-East London is a fun, sociable and seriously tasty way to learn a skill that’s sure to impress at home.

  • The minimum age for this experience is 16.

    This experience is wheelchair accessible; however, they only have limited wheelchair spaces. It would be on a first come first served basis.

  • Please bare in mind that the room can get quite warm so please dress in something comfortable.

    There will be a lot of standing, so you will need sensible footwear too.

    All equipment and aprons are provided, although you can bring your own apron.

    You'll be required to bring your own containers to take your food home with you.

    There isn't any parking on-site; however, parking is available on nearby streets with limited free parking spaces.
