Calling all thrill seekers! Accept the challenge and go Skydiving at Shotton Airfield near Durham. This is not an experience for the faint hearted as you will be jumping from up to 10,000 ft up. The skydive will be one where you are strapped to an instructor so you won't be taking a leap on your own. On arrival you will be welcomed before getting into safety briefings and receive instructions on how the jump will happen and how to land. All the kit you need will be provided including the jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and gloves. You are welcome to invite your friends and family to watch as this is definitely a moment you want to share. After your jump you can relax in the cafe, bar or restaurant on site to celebrate your jump.

Overview

    • Welcome and safety briefing
    • Receive instruction on how the jump will take place and landing procedures
    • Allow up to 90 minutes of preparation time for the jump
    • One jump from the aircraft strapped to the instructor
    • Jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and gloves are provided
    • All jumps are weather-dependent
    • Participants should allow up to 5 hours on site from their booked arrival time.
    • A DVD is available to purchase on the day
    • Comfortable warm clothing with trainers should be worn
    • The 10,000ft jump guarantees a minimum height of 7,500ft as occasional cloud pressure or temperature may prevent the full height from being achieved
    • Spectators are welcome
    • Cafe, bar and restaurant facilities on-site
    • Minimum age 16
    • Weight limits are 15.5 stone for Men and 14.5 stone for Women
    • All under 18's must have written parental consent
    • All participants must complete a medical information form and declaration
    • Medical advice should be taken should you have any doubts about any medical condition
    • No upper or lower age limit is required 
    • February to March: Friday-Sunday
    • April to October: Wednesday-Sunday plus Bank Holidays
    • November: Friday-Sunday
    • All jumps are subject to weather conditions, and return visits may be required
