Perfect for intermediate and advanced photographers, this 13-hour experience takes you across Edinburgh’s stunning landscapes and seascapes, from sunrise to nightfall, giving you the chance to capture a diverse range of breathtaking images.

Meet your expert photography tutor in central Edinburgh, who will provide a brief introduction and share essential tips to help you get the most from your camera. Throughout the day, you will explore the North and South banks of the Forth River, photographing iconic sights like the Forth Bridges and Scotland’s smallest port, along with many hidden gems. Your tutor will guide you in advanced composition techniques, creative in-camera effects, and filter use, helping you elevate your skills while capturing unforgettable shots.

This Scenic Photography Tour of Edinburgh is a unique and inspiring gift experience, perfect for keen photographers looking to enhance their skills while exploring one of Scotland’s most photogenic cities.

  • This photography experience is not suitable for beginners and is intended for intermediate and advanced photographers only. 

  • Please dress warmly, and ensure you are wearing waterproof boots or wellingtons that can handle rough terrain.

    Please bring a camera that has the ability to have its exposure set manually, and a sturdy tripod. You may also wish to bring a 70 - 200mm zoom lens.

    As you will be using filters throughout the workshop, you will need to have at least one graduated filter and one neutral density filter. If you don't own filters, please contact your experience provider in advance of the workshop for advice on which ones to purchase.

    Please remember to bring batteries, spare batteries and empty memory cards. 

    Lunch is not included, though a stop will be made so please ensure you bring money for this. You may also want to bring some snacks to eat throughout the day.
