Paddleboard Experience Days: Glide your way along the beautiful River Wye on this relaxed and sociable stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) tour — the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon on the water.

Based in the heart of Gloucestershire, this guided experience offers a fantastic introduction to SUP, one of the fastest-growing water sports in the UK. After getting kitted out with a wetsuit, helmet and board, your expert instructor will show you the basics, helping you build confidence and balance before setting off downstream on your adventure.

Paddling along the tranquil waters of the River Wye, you will take in peaceful countryside views while enjoying a surprisingly effective full-body workout. Great for improving core strength, balance and overall fitness, SUP is as beneficial as it is fun — and far more scenic than the gym.

Ideal for beginners and improvers alike, this River Wye paddleboarding tour makes a brilliant day out with friends or a unique experience gift for anyone keen to try something new on the water. Just try not to fall in!

  • Minimum age: 7

    No experience necessary.

    Suitable for most fitness levels.

  • Equipment provided: paddleboard and paddle, wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet.

    Participants should bring: bottle of water, hat, sun cream, sunglasses, spare clothes.

    It's advised to wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and anything you don't mind getting wet.

  • Sessions run seven days a week, twice a day at 10am and 2pm. 

    Please note, time slots are subject to change.

    Participants: The River Wye Guided SUP Tour is for 1 participant.

    Max Group Size: 8

    Spectators Allowed on Site: No

    Maximum group size: 8 (larger groups can be accommodated, please enquire if you would like to make a groupbooking).

    Visibility from spectators will be limited once the experience begins.

  • Experience Duration: 3:00

    Time Spent at Venue: 3:30

    The experience will last between 3 - 3.5 hours.

    • Minimum Age: 7 years

  • In particularly adverse weather conditions, the experience may have to be cancelled, in which case participants can reschedule for a more suitable date.
