Really enjoyed our falconry experience, as we were initially apprehensive not knowing what to expect. The bird man who was with us was very patience and amusing and we spent a while handling the birds. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially as owls are my favourite birds.

    • This venue is not as vulnerable to adverse weather as some centres, as there is a 75' barn in which the flying can take place in wet or windy conditions
    • Minimum participant age is 14 years
    • Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
    • Group sizes are kept small usually with no more than 8 guests per instructor
    • Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
    • Spectators are welcome for an additional charge, payable when booking your date
    • Current spectator charges: Raptor Experience £10pp, Meet the Birds £20pp
    • Minimum spectator age 14+

    • You are welcome to bring a camera along
    • The centre can help with advice on good hotels and B and Bs within the local Cheshire countryside

Great experience,staff very knowledgeable and would recommend to anyone with an interest in birds of prey. The only downside is the extra cost of a partner to watch. 20 is a bit much .

Venue well signposted on arrival at site.Interesting information, very pleasant and thoughtful member of staff. Flights went on for longer than expected and everyone had the birds landing on hisher arm several times.Generous with his time . Started promptly, and teacoffee at the end.Better than we expected.

Experience was brilliant. Rob the falconer made everything interesting and his presentation was very entertaining and informative. If I had more time I would have upgraded and stayed for at least half the day. In the event I will likely go back and do a whole day session. Nothing to be scared of and a fantastic experience to have such amazing creatures so close up.
