Is there any place better in the UK to learn to surf than on the beaches of the county that's arguably the mecca of surfing - Cornwall? In short, there isn't, which is why we think you and a friend, family member or loved one will love getting to have your own private surfing lesson together, under the guidance of an experienced surf instructor. At either Summerleaze Beach or Widemouth Beach. And because it's a session just for the both of you, that means you can tuition that is entirely bespoke to your level of aptitude on the board and in the water. Plus, there's great time flexibility with these lessons, so you can choose exactly when you go, whether that's the best surf, the quietest time on the beach or when the tide is in. Plus, all your surf gear - your wetsuits, your boards - will be provided for you. So all you need to do is turn up with buckets of enthusiasm and get ready to build in confidence on and off board, with dry land and on-water coaching both provided!

Dry Land Coaching

This important part of the lesson shows you what to work towards in the water using demonstrations and discussion. What we cover will depend on your experience, ability, and what you'd like to learn.

Water Coaching

Once you're in the water, your coach will be with you throughout, offering advice, helpful tips, encouragement, and answering any questions along the way

Final Tips

Towards the end of the session, we'll leave the water for a debrief to discuss next steps and key things to practice. Then it's time to change into dry clothes and head off for a coffee or a beer!
