About the Experience

Pint lovers in Poole, get ready for the ultimate day out. This full day Brewery Experience at the Poole Brewhouse and Kitchen gives you the chance to go behind the scenes and learn exactly how your favourite drink is made - from barley to barrel. The day begins with a proper welcome brew (tea or coffee, not beer… it's 10am after all) and a quick chat about what's in store. Then it's straight to the mash tun to start brewing. You'll get hands-on with every part of the process, from mashing in and sparging to the all-important boil, as your expert brewer explains how each step turns simple grain and water into liquid gold.

Of course, all that learning makes you thirsty, so throughout the day you'll taste a range of unique Brewhouse and Kitchen craft beers, with plenty of insight from your guide on what makes each one special. To keep you going, you'll enjoy a bacon butty in the morning and a delicious pub lunch at midday - and by that time, yes, it's absolutely beer o'clock.

By the end of the day, once your brew is safely in the fermenter and you're feeling rather pleased with your work, you'll receive a certificate and a parting gift. You can either take home a 5L mini keg of your favourite Brewhouse beer or return a couple of weeks later to collect a keg of your very own creation. Whether you're a beer enthusiast keen to learn the ropes or simply after an unforgettable day out with a pint in hand, this Poole brewery experience is one you won't forget in a hurry.

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Please wear whatever you would feel comfortable spending a whole day in.

  • The Poole Brewery Experience is run in small groups.

    Please note, this experience is not suitable for spectators.

  • The Brewery experience lasts approx. 7 hours. 10am start time. Mid-morning snack break, and lunch is included in this 7 hour experience.

    This experience is run twice a week on a Friday and Saturday at 11am, subject to availability.

  • This experience takes place indoors, therefore will not be affected by the weather.
