Surf Lessons Experience Days: Learn to surf in beautiful Pembrokeshire with this exciting 2-hour group lesson, led by an expert instructor. With sweeping views of the Welsh coastline, you’ll get to grips with your board and pick up the basics in a fun, supportive environment.

Your surfing adventure begins at stunning Whitesands Bay in St David’s, where you’ll meet your instructor and group before getting kitted out with your wetsuit and board. After learning essential techniques on the sand, you’ll head into the water to put your skills into practice—starting with paddling and catching small waves before attempting your first ‘pop up’. As you ride the sparkling waves, take in the breathtaking scenery and the postcard-perfect stretch of white sand behind you. With guidance from your qualified instructor, you’ll build confidence, improve your balance, and maybe even stand up on your board for the very first time.

By the end of the session, you will leave with a huge sense of achievement—and perhaps the beginning of a brand-new passion. This Pembrokeshire surf lesson makes a brilliant experience gift for water lovers and a memorable addition to any day out in St David’s.

  • The minimum age for this surfing experience is 8 years old.

    No prior surfing experience is necessary, but participants must be able to swim 50 metres unaided.

  • Please wear your swimming gear. All equipment is included. You may wish to bring a change of clothes.

  • This surf lesson runs up to 7 days a week, throughout the year. Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
