Owls come in all shapes and sizes, and are generally regarded as one of the best known and recognised nocturnal birds of prey in the British countryside. And this incredible 3 hour Owl Encounter will give you the chance to get up close and personal to them, under the guidance of an expert owl handler, at a dedicated outdoor centre near Market Harborough in Leicestershire! Over the course of your session, Andrew, who is an expert handler and falconer, will be your host, as you meet and learn more about a variety of species of owl, and also have the chance to fly them too. He's very passionate about these owls and his enthusiasm will rub off on you in no time at all. It will certainly ruffle the feathers of owl lovers twit-t-who want the chance to fly and handle them!

Such a fabulous experience I would do it again and again. I loved that they only have a small number of participants so everyone gets hands on experience with a variety of birds. The handlers are a hive of information and open to answering lots of questions. I would highly recommend anyone to have a day half a day here. Money very well spent.

- Owl encounters usually run 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm
- You may form part of a group of up to six participants

- Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult
- No alcohol or pets on site please

- Spectators are welcome for an additional charge payable on the day
- £30.00 for the owl encounter if you with to spectate, this does also include taking part (but not flying to the glove)

What a great afternoon. Andrew is very knowledgeable and communicates his vast knowledge easily. It was so enjoyable, and restful. Set in some great countryside, the birds seem are very much in a splendid environment. If you want to see birds of prey in the hands of an expert, then take this experience.
