Glamping in Devon – your chance to stay in a cosy camping pod just outside Tavistock, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. If you love the idea of fresh air and countryside calm, but not the faff of pitching a tent, this is the perfect break. This small, family-run holiday park centres around a restored manor house, with pods, holiday homes, and pitches tucked into mature grounds. Far from city lights, it’s all about stargazing, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors – with a touch of comfort. The location couldn’t be better. You’re close to Devon’s scenic coastal walks and fishing villages, yet only minutes from Tavistock’s shops, market, cafés, pool, and arts centre. Each pod is built from hardwood, fully insulated, and comes with heating and lighting. Outside, a covered verandah with table and chairs invites you to unwind and soak up the countryside atmosphere. If you can tear yourself away, the manor house has a bar, games, and a dining room serving evening meals. No noisy entertainment here – just laid-back Devon vibes. Pods are available from March to November and sleep up to two, making them ideal for a romantic getaway or a chilled mini-break with friends. It’s glamping with all the best bits of camping – minus the soggy tent.

We enjoyed our stay emensley. The pod and all the facilities were immaculate. Our pod was in a secluded spot with plenty of garden around it and a screened area for parking. We enjoyed it so much that we booked to go back in 4 weeks time.
